AuditEase ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide directly:
- First and last name
- Work email address
- Organization name
- Your role (optional)
- Annual budget range (optional)
- Your biggest audit challenge (optional)
Information collected automatically:
- IP address (processed by Cloudflare when you submit the waitlist form)
- Browser type and device information (standard web server logs)
- Pages visited and time spent (via Cloudflare analytics)
2. How We Use Your Information
- To send you the AuditEase waitlist nurture email sequence
- To notify you when early access opens
- To understand what features matter most to our users (product research)
- To respond to questions or support requests you send us directly
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your information for advertising or share it with third parties for their marketing purposes.
3. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate AuditEase:
- MailerLite — stores subscriber data and sends emails. Subject to MailerLite's Privacy Policy.
- Cloudflare — DNS, CDN, and serverless functions that process form submissions. Subject to Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
- Vercel — hosts the static website files. Subject to Vercel's Privacy Policy.
4. Email Communications
By joining the waitlist, you consent to receive emails from AuditEase. Every email includes an unsubscribe link. You can opt out at any time and we will stop sending you marketing emails within 10 business days.
5. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as you are subscribed to our email list or have an active account. If you unsubscribe or request deletion, we will remove your data from our active systems within 30 days, subject to legal retention requirements.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:
- Access — request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- Correction — request correction of inaccurate information
- Deletion — request deletion of your personal information
- Opt-out — unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time

7. California Residents (CCPA)
California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act. We do not sell personal information. To submit a CCPA request, contact us at hello@auditease.app.
8. Children's Privacy
AuditEase is intended for use by nonprofit organizations and their staff. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 18 years of age.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify waitlist members of material changes via email. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
